Hemlet movie screening

Image
Hello readers.,  Thinking Activity : Hamlet movie screening • Hamlet by William Shakespeare :~ My interpretation about the movie screening of Hamlet is as follows. Before watching the movie Hamlet there was  lot of question about it in my mind that why people are debating too much about this play rather than any other play ? Why critics are calling Hamlet Mona Lisa of literature? And so on…. But after watching movie my  interpretation about it totally changed. It creates far better understanding of the PLAY than it was ever before. Hamlet is a 1996 film adaptation of William Shakespeare's play Hamlet, adapted and directed by Kenneth Branagh, who also stars as Prince Hamlet. The film also features Derek Jacobi as King Claudius, Julie Christie as Queen Gertrude, Kate Winslet as Ophelia, Michael Maloney as Laertes, Richard Briers as Polonius, and Nicholas Farrell as Horatio. Metaphysical poetry

Image
Metaphysical poetry Question:1      Characteristics of metaphysical poetry  with explanations of a few metaphysical poetry written by  John  Donne.  As well as any other metaphysical poetry.    term metaphysical poets was coined by the critic Samuel Johnson to describe a loose group of 17th-century English poets whose work was characterized by the inventive use of conceits, and by a greater emphasis on the spoken rather than lyrical quality of their verse. These poets were not formally affiliated and few were highly regarded until 20th century attention established their importance. Given the lack of coherence as a movement, and the diversity of style between poets, it has been suggested that calling them Baroquepoets after their era might be more useful. Once the Metaphysical style was established, however, it was occasionally adopted by other and especially younger poets to fit appropriate circumstances. POET JOHN DO...

Post- truth

Image
Hello readers, “Post-Truth” I explore the idea that “post-truth” actually goes far beyond the Oxford dictionaries’ definition of it as “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Instead, I offer the idea that post-truth is more usefully understood as the “political subordination of reality,” in which truth is the first casualty on the road to authoritarianism. If that is right, what are we to think of Mueller’s fact-based statement? At the start, Mueller outlined the parameters and limitations of his investigation. Given Justice Department guidelines, he said, he could not charge a sitting president with a crime (left unsaid: even if he felt that he had committed one). Furthermore, in the interest of “fairness,” Mueller offered that it would be untoward to accuse someone of a crime when there could be no ultimate determination of guilt or innocence a...
